Eligibility Criteria

  3. If no BPL candidate (widow/divorced/abandoned or general) is found, widow/divorced/abandoned women living above the poverty line in the same Gram Sabha/Ward are selected.
  4. If none of the above are found, women living above the poverty line in the same Gram Sabha/Ward are selected.
  5. If still no candidate is found as per the above, women from families living above the poverty line in the same Gram Sabha/Ward are selected from the remaining eligible applicants.

For widow candidates, the death certificate issued by the Gram Panchayat Adhikari/concerned Nagar Nikay along with the family register copy will be considered valid proof. For divorced/abandoned (deserted) women, a legal order issued by a competent court will be considered valid proof.

Important: Income, residence, and caste certificates must be digitally signed and verified online through the Tehsil. Only certificates issued in the applicant’s own name that can be verified online are valid. The application number and certificate number of these certificates must be entered correctly in the online application; incorrect entries will make the application invalid, and the applicant will be solely responsible for such errors.

Important Rule: One Family, One Post

As per Government Order No. 1/1092245/2025/3313/58-1-2025 (1917687) dated 17 September 2025, two women from the same family cannot be appointed as Anganwadi Karyakatri and Anganwadi Sahayika at the same Anganwadi centre.
