The TPSC Exam Schedule 2026 has been released for the Food Safety Officer (Group-B) and Medical Officer (Dental) Grade-IV (Group-A) recruitment examinations under the Health & Family Welfare Department, Tripura. Both written exams will be conducted on 6 September 2026 in Agartala, with provisional admission certificates available at least seven days before the examination through the candidate login portal.

Food Safety Officer – Exam Centre and Venue List (Agartala)

Candidates for the Food Safety Officer post will sit for the exam between 11:00 AM and 01:00 PM at one of the following Agartala venues, based on roll number:

Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme

Both exams follow the same rules as stated by TPSC:

  • Each question has four alternative answers.
  • For every wrong answer, one-fourth of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty.
  • If a candidate marks more than one answer to a question, it will be treated as a wrong answer and penalized accordingly, even if one of the marked answers is correct.
  • If a question is left blank (unanswered), there is no penalty.
  • Answers must be encoded on the OMR Answer Sheet using a black ball point pen only.

Facilities for Candidates with Benchmark Disabilities

  • Compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour will be allowed to persons with benchmark disabilities.
  • Candidates who need a scribe must inform the Commission at least 7 (seven) days prior to the exam, as per the conditions in Government of India Office Memorandum F.No.34-02/2015-DD-III dated 29th August 2018.
  • If a candidate fails to submit this request at least 7 days in advance, the Commission will not be able to arrange a scribe.

How to Check Exam Venue/ Admission Certificate

The Provisional Admission Certificate for both exams will be available in the candidate’s Registration ID at least 7 (seven) days before the exam date.

Important Instructions for Exam Day

  • Mobile phones and other electronic gadgets are strictly banned inside the Examination Premises/Interview Premises.
  • Any phone or electronic gadget found with a candidate will be confiscated, and the candidate may be debarred from that exam/interview and future TPSC exams/interviews. Violation will be dealt with as per law.
  • Entry into the exam hall with a face mask, jacket, coat, cap, muffler, scarf, pullover, or similar garments is not allowed (as specified for the Medical Officer (Dental) exam; the Food Safety Officer notice states the same restriction without bold emphasis).
