A total of 62 Anganwadi Teacher vacancies have been announced for the Medchal-Malkajgiri District through the Telangana Anganwadi Teacher Recruitment 2026.

Women candidates who have passed Intermediate (10+2) and are 18 to 35 years of age are eligible to apply for these Anganwadi Teacher vacancies, subject to the prescribed local candidature requirements. Full Anganwadi Centre-wise Vacancy List

The table below lists all 62 Anganwadi Centres (AWCs) with vacancies, as per the official vacancy annexure. Each row shows the reservation category the post is earmarked for.

Note: As per the vacancy annexure, the “From Date” and “To Date” listed against each Anganwadi Centre (27.07.2026 to 05.08.2026) correspond to the application/verification window and are the same across all 62 posts.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

The applicant shall have passed Intermediate (10+2).

Age Limit

The candidate shall be 18 years to 35 years of age as on 01.07.2026.

Gender

Only women candidates are eligible to apply.

Local Candidature

  • The candidate must be a local resident of the concerned Anganwadi Centre area for which she applies.
  • In rural areas, she must be a resident of the concerned Gram Panchayat.
  • In urban areas, she must be a resident of the concerned Municipal Ward (GHMC/MMC/CMC).

SC/ST Sub-Plan Vacancies

For Anganwadi Teacher posts reserved under the SC/ST Sub-Plan, only eligible SC/ST women candidates belonging to the same Hamlet/Habitation concerned are eligible. A Residence Certificate issued by the Tahsildar is mandatory, and only certificates issued within one year from the date of this notification will be accepted.

Reservation

Candidates belonging to the Community/Category specified against the respective Roster Point are eligible to apply. If there is any change in the candidate’s name, it must be supported by a Gazette Notification or a Court Order – only such cases will be considered.

Eligibility for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs)

The following categories of women candidates with disabilities are also eligible to apply, provided they are capable of performing the duties of an Anganwadi Teacher:

  1. Candidates with hearing impairment who can hear with the assistance of hearing aids.
  2. Candidates with visual impairment/blindness who can independently perform their duties without the assistance of an escort.
  3. Candidates with locomotor disability affecting the upper or lower limbs, provided they are capable of imparting pre-school education and caring for children without difficulty.

  6. Husband’s Death Certificate (for Widow candidates)
  7. Orphan Certificate issued by the Tahsildar (where applicable)
  8. Voter Identity Card
  9. Aadhaar Card

How to Apply Online

  1. Visit the official Department website: http://wdcw.tg.nic.in.
  2. Submit the application only through the Online Application Web Portal between 27.07.2026 (10:30 AM) and 05.08.2026 (5:00 PM).
  3. Fill in details and upload all required scanned documents listed above.
  4. After submitting online, carry all relevant certificates along with 2 sets of Gazetted Officer-attested photocopies to the concerned ICDS Project Office (Alwal, Medchal, or Quthbullapur, as applicable) for certificate verification, between 27.07.2026 (10:30 AM) and 05.08.2026 (5:00 PM), during office working hours.

Certificate Verification

Applicants must submit all relevant certificates along with Gazetted Officer-attested photocopies (2 sets/Xerox) at the concerned ICDS Project Office – i.e., ICDS Alwal, Medchal, or Quthbullapur – from 27.07.2026 (10:30 AM) to 05.08.2026 (5:00 PM), during office working hours. Applications with pending or unsubmitted certificate verification will not be considered.

Modes of Application NOT Accepted

Applications submitted through Post, E-mail, Prajavani, or manual applications submitted directly at the CDPO Office or the Office of the District Welfare Officer will not be considered under any circumstances.

Selection Process
