SBI Specialist Cadre Officer Selection Process 2026
Selection for all 10 posts across the three advertisements is based on Shortlisting and Interview:
- Shortlisting: Merely meeting the minimum qualification and experience does not entitle a candidate to an interview call. The shortlisting committee decides the parameters, and the Bank’s decision on which candidates to call is final.
- Interview: Carries 100 marks; qualifying marks are decided by the Bank.
- Merit List: Prepared in descending order of interview scores; candidates tied at the cut-off are ranked by age (older candidates ranked higher).
- CTC Negotiation (contractual posts only – DVP, DCTO, VP): Conducted with candidates in merit order, one by one. If a selected candidate does not agree to the negotiated CTC, they are treated as a Voluntary Exit, and the next candidate in the merit list is called.
