Pondicherry University’s Examination Wing (Medical Section) has released the official time table for the IV Year MBBS Degree (Supplementary) Examinations, July 2026 session. The notification, bearing reference number PU/Exam/Med./MBBS/E5/2026/229 and dated 17.07.2026, has been forwarded to the Directors/Deans of IGMC&RI, PIMS, SMVMCH, SVMCH&RC, and ANIIMS in Puducherry and Port Blair. It covers theory exam dates for all batches, the tentative practical exam schedule, and key registration deadlines.

Exam Timing
All theory examinations will be held from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM (Forenoon session) on the scheduled dates.

Exam Centres
Registration Process
Based on the official notification, the registration-related timeline is as follows:
- Online registration for the exam opens on 18.07.2026 and closes on 21.07.2026.
- Students/colleges must submit payment details to the University by 22.07.2026.
- Internal Assessment marks must be entered online between 23.07.2026 (opening and closing on the same day).
- Hall tickets can be generated from 24.07.2026 onwards.
Application Submission – Hard Copy Requirement
As per the notification, colleges must submit the hard copy of the application, duly filled in and signed by the student concerned, along with the prescribed fee. This hard copy must be countersigned by the Dean/Director of the respective institution before submission to the University.
Important Instructions for Candidates
- All students must reach the examination centre at least one hour before the commencement of the examination.
- Theory exams for all batches are held in the forenoon session, 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
- Students appearing from Sri Manakula Vinayagar Medical College & Hospital will write their exams at IGMC&RI, since SMVMCH is designated as an exam centre only for supplementary students.
- Candidates from ANIIMS, Port Blair will take the exam at the Pondicherry University Port Blair Campus.
- Colleges are responsible for informing students about exam centre allocation and reporting instructions.
