  • Register: Click Login/Register → New User/Register Now. Enter your mobile number, verify via OTP, and set a password (minimum 8 characters with one uppercase, one lowercase, one digit, and one special character).

  • Complete e-KYC: Verify your identity via Aadhaar OTP or DigiLocker. This unlocks full internship descriptions and the Apply button.

  • Complete your profile: Personal details (auto-fetched name/DOB/gender from e-KYC, plus father/mother/guardian name, category, address, contact details), educational qualifications in completion order (10th → 12th → ITI/Diploma → Graduation, as applicable) with certificate uploads, and your skills and languages.

  • Build your CV: The portal auto-generates a CV from your profile. You can edit the summary, skills, experience, and certifications, then download it as a PDF.

  • Application limit: You can have a maximum of 3 active applications at any time. An application counts as active if it’s Applied, Shortlisted, Waitlisted, Selected, or Offer Accepted/Joined. Once one is rejected or not shortlisted, that slot frees up for a new application.

  • Offer limit: You can hold a maximum of 2 active offer letters at once, but you can accept only one.

  • Acceptance window: An offer must be accepted within 14 days, or it lapses automatically.

  • Switching offers: If you’ve accepted one of two offers, you can withdraw it and accept the other – but only within 15 days of your original acceptance.

  • Once accepted: You cannot apply to further internships, and other pending applications/offers get blocked.

  • Joining: You must join by the reporting date in your offer letter. There’s a 14-day grace period after that; missing it too results in an automatic “Did Not Report” (DNR) status on the 15th day.

  • Drop-out policy: If you’re terminated by a company during an internship, you cannot rejoin PMIS. If you drop out once, you get one more chance; a second drop-out makes you permanently ineligible.
