NEIAH Shillong Eligibility Criteria 2026
For Professor (Ayurveda / Homoeopathy):
- PG Degree in concerned subject.
- 13 years combined teaching/research experience (with minimum 2 years in Level-12 + NPA).
- Minimum 5 research publications.
- Valid NTET certificate / Teacher’s Code.
For Associate Professor:
- PG Degree in concerned subject.
- 9 years combined experience (with minimum 3 years in Level-11 + NPA).
- Minimum 3 research publications.
- Valid NTET certificate / Teacher’s Code.
Desirable for all: PhD in concerned discipline.
For Medical Specialists (Direct/Deputation): PG Degree + 7 years experience (for most specialist posts).
Pay Scales (7th CPC)
- Professor: Level-13 (Rs. 1,23,100 – 2,15,900) + NPA
- Associate Professor: Level-12 (Rs. 78,800 – 2,09,200) + NPA
