Yadgir Anganwadi Vacancy 2026 – Taluk-Wise Details
A total of 232 vacancies have been announced across four taluks of Yadgir district, as shown below.

Who Can Apply – Eligibility Criteria
- Only women candidates, and women belonging to linguistic minority communities, are eligible to apply.
- In areas where a linguistic minority community forms 25% or more of the local population, priority is given to candidates from that minority community’s language group for the Karyakarte/Sahayaki post at the Kannada-medium Anganwadi centre in that area.
- Candidates must be residents of the specific village/gram panchayat (rural areas) or ward (urban areas) where the Anganwadi centre is located, verified through a residence certificate from a competent authority.
- For posts vacant for three years or more, residents of the taluk are also eligible, subject to additional supporting documents (Aadhar card, ration card, voter ID).
Educational Qualification
Candidates who have completed a D.S.E.R.T.-recognized ECCE Diploma, JOC Course, or NTT Course, or a Diploma in Nutrition, Home Science Certificate Course, or a one-year Nursery/Pre-Primary Teacher Training certificate relevant to Anganwadi activities, will be given first preference and awarded +5 bonus marks in the Karyakarte selection process.
For Sahayaki candidates who studied in a language other than Kannada, or in another state, specific marks-equivalence and Kannada-language-proficiency conditions apply as detailed in the notification; where doubt exists about Kannada language knowledge, the Selection Committee will interview and assess the candidate.

Age Limit
- General candidates: 19 to 35 years
- Disabled candidates: age relaxation of 10 years
Reservation & Bonus Marks Criteria
Where more than one eligible candidate obtains equal marks, age (older candidate preferred) and then widow/destitute status are used as tie-breakers, in that order.
Selection Process
- Applications are accepted online only; no offline or postal applications are accepted
- Applications are scrutinised at the taluk level by a Taluk-Level Application Scrutiny Committee
- A provisional merit list is prepared based on qualification marks plus applicable bonus marks and published on the notice board
- Objections/grievances, if any, can be raised within one week of the provisional list; the District-Level Selection Committee reviews objections and finalises the merit list
- The final selection list is approved by the District-Level Anganwadi Karyakarte/Sahayaki Selection Committee

- Birth certificate or SSLC marks card showing date of birth
- Marks card of the prescribed educational qualification
- Residence certificate for the last three years, issued by the Tahsildar/Assistant Tahsildar
- Caste certificate of the candidate
- Husband’s death certificate and widow certificate, where applicable (widow pension confirmation is not considered as proof)
- Disability certificate (UDID – Unique Disability ID), where applicable
- Divorce certificate from a competent court, where applicable
- Certificate regarding Devadasi women’s children status from Women Development Corporation officials, where applicable
- Residence proof certificate from Women & Child Development officials for institution/State Women’s Home residents (minimum 3 years), where applicable
- Certificate regarding orphan status from the Tahsildar, where applicable
- Aadhar card / Voter ID card / Ration card
- All documents must be self-attested and uploaded online in the prescribed format
