U R Rao Satellite Centre (ISRO URSC), Bengaluru has released the ISRO URSC Scientist/Engineer & Medical Officer Recruitment 2026 notification under Advt. No. URSC:01:2026 for 4 Group ‘A’ Gazetted posts including Scientist/Engineer–‘SC’, Scientist/Engineer–‘SD’ and Medical Officer–‘SC’ in highly specialized technical and medical domains.
These full-time posts carry an initial basic pay of ₹56,100 per month in the 7th CPC pay matrix along with admissible allowances (gross around ₹67,700 per month) and Non-Practicing Allowance at 20% of basic pay for Medical Officer, and are open to candidates with B.E./B.Tech in Industrial/Production/Allied branches, Ph.D. in Thin Films/Material Science/Applied Optics/Metallurgy with required pre-qualifications, or MBBS with 2 years’ experience, within the upper age limits of 28–35 years as per post and applicable relaxations.

- Scientist/Engineer – ‘SC’: B.E./B.Tech or equivalent in Industrial Production / Industrial Engineering / Industrial Management / Production Engg. or allied branches; 65% aggregate or 6.84 CGPA.
- Scientist/Engineer – ‘SD’: Ph.D. in Thin Films / Material Science / Applied Optics / Metallurgy + mandatory pre-qualification M.Sc./M.Tech + B.E./B.Tech or B.Sc.; 60% in PG or 6.5 CGPA.
- Medical Officer – ‘SC’: MBBS (recognized by NMC, minimum second class, completed internship) with 2 years experience after registration.
