IIT Guwahati Recruitment 2026 – Eligibility Criteria
- Project Scientist – I: Ph. D in Engineering/Technology/Science or Master’s degree in engineering or technology from a recognized university preferably in the area of Electronics/ Computer Science/ Mechanical/ Civil/ IT/ Agriculture or equivalent; and (ii) Three years’ Research and Development experience in Industrial and Academic institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services or (iii) Bachelors in engineering or technology preferably in the area of Electronics/ Computer Science/ Mechanical/ Civil/ IT/ Agriculture with 10 years’ of relevant industrial experience.
- Project Associate – I: Master’s degree in natural or agriculture sciences/MVSc/ Engineering/ Technology preferably in the area of Electronics/ Computer Science/ Mechanical/ Civil/ IT/ Agriculture or equivalent, or Bachelors in engineering or technology preferably in the area of Electronics/ Computer Science/ Mechanical/ Civil/ IT/ Agriculture or Medicine from a recognized university or equivalent.
- Field Worker: Bachelors in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent.

Walk-In Procedure
