Rewari Anganwadi Eligibility Criteria

Who Can Apply

  • Only women candidates who are residents of the concerned Gram Panchayat/Ward against which the post is vacant are eligible
  • Permanent residency in the applicable Gram Panchayat/Ward (or urban area) is mandatory for all applicants

Educational Qualification

  • Anganwadi Karyakatri: Minimum qualification of Intermediate (12th); the merit list is prepared based on actual marks obtained in Matric. Additional marks are added for higher education as per rules (Graduate: 3 marks, Postgraduate: 5 marks)
  • Anganwadi Sahayika: Minimum qualification of Matric (10th); the merit list is prepared based on actual marks obtained in Matric. Additional marks are added for higher education as per rules (12th/10+2: 3 marks, Graduate or equivalent: 5 marks)

Age Limit

  • Maximum age: 42 years

Merit and Marking Scheme

Selection of Anganwadi Karyakatri and Anganwadi Sahayika is made by a departmentally constituted selection committee, based on a village/ward-wise merit list. The merit list is built using the following marking components:

  • Base qualification marks: Actual marks obtained in Matric (10th) for both posts
  • Special category preference: Women falling under special categories (such as widow, divorced, or other women eligible under the prescribed rules) are given a special preference of 10 marks
  • Experience marks (maximum 5 marks): 1 mark per year of prior work as an Anganwadi Karyakatri, Kendra Worker, or Anganwadi Sahayika – 1 year: 1 mark, 2 years: 2 marks, 3 years: 3 marks, 4 years: 4 marks, 5 years or more: 5 marks.
