FDDI Recruitment 2026 – Eligibility Criteria
- Junior Faculty (Ad-hoc Basis):
- Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree (of minimum 02 years duration after Graduation) in any field with minimum 55% marks from a recognized University/Institute; and Diploma (of minimum 01 year duration) in Footwear Manufacturing / Footwear Technology / Footwear Design & Production / Footwear Production / Accessories Design / Footwear Science & Engineering from a recognized University/Institute.
- Candidate must be well conversant in Designing and pattern engineering of Various categories of Footwear (Classic/Sports/ Industrial/Safety/ Orthopaedic). Must have ability for critical analysis of footwear design and to demonstrate through practical work. Must have basic design principles and elements of design knowledge.
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s Degree (minimum 2 years after Graduation) in any field with minimum 55% marks from a recognized university/institute, and Diploma (minimum 1 year duration) in Footwear Design and Manufacturing or Production/Footwear Technology (specialization in Design/Product Design/Accessories Design/Fashion Design) from a recognized university/institute. OR Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Footwear Technology (specialization in Design/Footwear Design and Manufacturing or Production/Product Design/Design/Accessories Design/Fashion Design) with minimum 55% marks from a recognized university/institute.
Experience for Junior Faculty:
- Academic and/or Industry Experience of at least 03 years in the field of footwear assembly (Components / Lasting / Finishing).
- Academic experience, if any, should be of teaching in UG degree or higher academic courses.
- Academic and/or Industry Experience of at-least 3 years in the field of Design. Academic experience, if any, should be of teaching in UG degree or higher academic courses in the area of Design. Desirable: 1. Knowledge in Portfolio designing and illustration is required. Candidate with design experience in industry will be given preference. 2. Preference will be given to candidate who have hands on experience on 2D or 3D design software like coral draw, Photoshop, Maya, shoe master, Crispin, solid works etc.
- Candidates with production experience in footwear industry will be given preference. Preference will be given to candidates having hands-on experience on machining, polymer processing, material science related to non-leather footwear making, moulding machines, etc.
- Lab Assistant (Ad-hoc Basis):
- 12th Pass or above, 1 Year relevant experience
Experience for Lab Assistant:
- Academic and/or Industry experience of at least 02-03 years of working skill in Footwear Designing/manual pattern making and upper making experience with demonstration capability.
