DRDO LRDE Internship Stipend
- Stipend: ₹5,000 per month for the six-month internship period.
- Paid in two equal instalments of ₹15,000 each – one after successful completion of 3 months, and the second after successful completion of 6 months.
- No stipend is payable for an internship period of less than six months.
- No other allowance or reimbursement (such as lodging, boarding, transport, or medical expenses) will be paid; these must be borne by the intern.

Required Documents for Verification
Provisionally selected candidates must carry the following in original, plus one set of self-attested photocopies, on the reporting date:
- 10th standard mark sheet
- Mark sheets of the qualifying examination for all semesters/years, as applicable (if CGPA is used, the university’s official CGPA-to-percentage conversion formula document is also required)
- Photo ID card issued by the State Government or Government of India (Aadhaar card preferred)
- College ID card
- Four recent photographs (2 stamp size and 2 passport size)
- Police verification report from the respective district/local police station
- Aadhaar-seeded savings bank account number, with a copy of the first page of the bank passbook/statement
How to Apply Next Steps for Selected Candidates
Since this is a result notification, there is no fresh “apply” step. Provisionally selected candidates must instead complete the following:
- Send a willingness email to [email protected] on or before 24 July 2026. If no willingness is received by this date, the candidature will be cancelled and the seat offered to a waitlisted candidate. No further correspondence on this will be entertained.
- Report in person to the Director, LRDE, DRDO, CV Raman Nagar, Bengaluru – 560093 on 31 July 2026 for document verification, carrying all required original documents and self-attested copies.
- On successful verification, the internship will commence from 3 August 2026.
Important Instructions
- The internship duration is 6 months and is considered part of the candidate’s degree course.
- Interns must be physically present at LRDE for a minimum of 15 working days per month during the internship.
- If a candidate who has submitted willingness fails to join on the specified date, the offer will be treated as automatically cancelled with no further intimation.
- Unfilled seats will be filled from the waitlisted candidates, who should be ready to report on short notice.
- Interns will only be granted access to non-classified areas within LRDE.
- Completion of the internship does not guarantee employment at DRDO.
