- JRF (Computer Science & Engineering): ME/M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering/Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Information Technology and allied subjects with first division (both at Graduate and Post Graduate level) OR BE/B.Tech in first division with NET/GATE in Computer Science & Engineering/Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Information Technology and allied subjects from a recognized University.
- JRF (Structural Engineering): ME/M.Tech in Structure Engineering with first division (both at Graduate and Post Graduate level) OR BE/B.Tech in first division with NET/GATE in Civil Engineering (with specialization in Structure Engineering) from a recognized University.
- JRF (Geo-informatics/ Remote Sensing & GIS): ME/M.Tech in Geo-informatics/ Remote Sensing & GIS/ Geomatics/ Geospatial Engineering with first division (both at Graduate and Post Graduate level) OR BE/B.Tech in first division with NET/GATE in Geo-informatics/ Remote Sensing & GIS/ Geomatics/ Earth Science/Environmental Science OR Post Graduate Science degree in first division with NET/GATE in the field of Geo-informatics/ Remote Sensing & GIS/ Geomatics/ Earth Science/Environmental Science from a recognized University. Candidate must be a Bachelor of Science.
- JRF (Atmospheric Science/Meteorology): ME/M.Tech in Atmospheric Science/Meteorology/ Environmental Engineering with first division (both at Graduate and Post Graduate level) OR BE/B.Tech in first division with NET/GATE in Atmospheric Science/Meteorology/ Environmental Engineering OR Post Graduate Science degree in first division with NET/GATE in the field of Atmospheric Science/Meteorology/ Environmental Science from a recognized University.
