The Bhakra Byas Management Board (BBMB), Dehar Vidyut Grih Mandal, Slapper, District Mandi (Himachal Pradesh) – 175017 has released an advertisement inviting online applications from eligible ITI holders for ITI Apprenticeship Training 2026-27 under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961.
A total of 45 Apprentice posts across 6 trades are proposed to be filled for a period of one year under Dehar Power House Circle BBMB Slapper. Applications must be submitted online through the NAPS Portal only.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- 10th Class: Must have passed 10th class examination with a minimum of 40% marks from a recognized Board.
- ITI Certificate: Must possess a National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) / State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT) in the respective trade.
- ITI Course Completion: Must have completed the relevant ITI course.
- Aadhaar Card: Mandatory for online registration.
Age Limit
As per Apprenticeship Act 1961 and its amendments from time to time.
Reservation
Reservation shall be as per Apprenticeship Act 1961 and its amendments from time to time.
Selection Process
There will be no written exam and no interview. Selection will be purely merit-based, through the NAPS/NATS Portal database.
Merit List Preparation
Tie-breaking Rules
- If two candidates have equal marks, the older candidate will be given preference.
- If the date of birth is also the same, the candidate who passed the matriculation exam earlier shall be considered first.
Preference in Selection
- 25% of total available seats for each trade will be reserved for candidates possessing a Residency Certificate of the districts where the Project/Power Station/Unit is located (Mandi & Bilaspur, HP).
- If reserved seats are still unfilled, they will first be offered to candidates with a Residency Certificate of the State where the Project/Power Station is located.
- If seats still remain, they will be filled through open merit.

General Guidelines
- Candidates whose results are awaited on the last date of application will not be considered.
- Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training in any establishment under the Apprenticeship Act 1961 are not eligible to apply.
- Candidates already registered and trained under NAPS will not be entertained.
- Selected contracts will be registered under the NAPS Portal.
- Results of engagement will be uploaded on the BBMB website through the office of the System Software Manager, BBMB, Chandigarh.

- Register/Login and fill the online application for the desired trade under Dehar Power House Circle BBMB Slapper.
- Ensure Aadhaar Card details are available, as they are mandatory for registration.
- Submit the application on or before 04.06.2026. No other mode of application will be accepted.
