A total of 27 vacancies have been announced across 4 posts under Group ‘C’ category in the Judgeship of Balangir. Vacancies are distributed across Unreserved, SEBC, SC and ST categories. The number of vacancies may increase or decrease. SC & ST vacancies include carry forward backlog vacancies. Reservation for Women/PwD/Ex-Servicemen/Sports persons shall be as per State Government rules.

Who should NOT apply for Balangir District Court Recruitment 2026?
- Candidates who have not completed +3 (Graduation) or equivalent for posts of Junior Clerk-cum-Copyist, Junior Typist and Stenographer Grade-III.
- Candidates who have not passed at least Matriculation (10th) for the post of Salaried Amin.
- Candidates who do not hold a Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized institute (mandatory for Junior Clerk-cum-Copyist, Junior Typist and Stenographer Grade-III).
- Salaried Amin aspirants who have not completed Revenue Inspector Training from a recognized institute.
- Candidates who cannot read, write and speak Odia or who have not passed an Odia test equivalent to M.E. standard (and cannot produce 10th/12th proof of Odia study).
- Junior Typist applicants whose typewriting speed is below 40 words per minute and Stenographer applicants whose shorthand speed is below 80 WPM or typing speed below 40 WPM.
- Candidates outside the 18–42 years age band as on 24-06-2026 (except those with valid relaxation under reserved categories).
- Candidates with more than one spouse living at the time of application.
- Government servants or PSU employees who cannot obtain a No Objection Certificate from their controlling authority.
- Candidates applying for multiple posts should note that the written exam for all posts is held on the same day — they can appear for only one post’s exam regardless of how many applications they submit.

Important Instructions for Balangir District Court Recruitment 2026 Candidates
- The post name must be written in CAPITAL LETTERS on top of the application form and on the envelope.
- Separate applications with separate sets of documents must be submitted for each post applied for.
- Written examinations for all posts will be held on the same day; candidates applying for more than one post can appear for only one post’s exam of their choice.
- No examination fee is required from any candidate.
- Applications received after 5:00 PM on 24-06-2026 or through any mode other than Registered Post/Speed Post/Drop Box will be rejected outright.
- Non-compliance with any requirement mentioned in the advertisement, including non-submission of any required document, will result in rejection of the application without any correspondence.
- Fraudulent certificates will lead to prosecution of the candidate even after joining.
