MFL Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility criteria include age limit, educational qualification and post-qualification experience. All conditions must be fulfilled as on the cut-off date i.e. 05 April 2026.
Age Limit & Relaxation 2026
Note: Even after applying all applicable relaxations, the candidate’s maximum age shall not exceed 55 years. Minimum age for all candidates is 18 years.
MFL Recruitment 2026 Educational Qualification & Experience
Post-wise essential qualifications and experience requirements (all qualifications must be full-time and recognized by AICTE/UGC/State Technical Board/AIU or equivalent regulatory body):
Minimum Marks: 65% marks (or equivalent CGPA) in qualifying educational qualification for all posts except Post Codes 2, 7, 14, 24, 32, 37 & 38. Relaxable to 55% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates against reserved vacancies.

Experience requirements differ for CPSU candidates and others:
- Candidates employed in CPSUs: Out of the total required experience, 2 years should be in not less than the specified IDA 2017 Pay Scale (varies by grade).
- Other candidates (Government, State PSUs, Private, Fixed Term Employment, contract-based in CPSUs/Government): Total experience with minimum annual emoluments as prescribed for each grade (ranges from ₹6 lakhs p.a. for E2 to ₹16 lakhs p.a. for E7).
- Documentary evidence for emoluments: Detailed certificate from employer showing break-up, OR Form-16, OR latest 3 months’ pay slips.

- Candidates will be screened based on relevant experience; selection based on Virtual and/or Personal Interview(s) to be held at Chennai.
- MFL reserves the right to call all candidates for interview or shortlist depending on number of applications received.
- Call letters for interview will be generated online; candidates shall download from MFL website during the period notified.
- At interview, candidates must carry Call Letter (with photograph and signature) and one valid original photo ID (Electoral ID, Passport, Aadhaar, Driving License).
- Final merit list drawn in order of merit based on interview performance and eligibility.
- Provisionally selected candidates must undergo pre-employment medical examination by a Civil Surgeon at NABL/NABH approved laboratory/hospital before joining.
Travel Allowance for Interview
- Post Codes 1 to 17: Up to First A/C Rail fare or Air fare (limited to First A/C Basic Rail fare of premium trains) by shortest route.
- Post Codes 18 to 39: Up to Second A/C Rail fare by shortest route; travel by higher class reimbursed only up to Second A/C Basic Rail fare.

Important Instructions
- Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply.
