Eligibility Criteria
1. Project Engineer
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor of Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with at least 60% marks in aggregate.
- Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with M.Tech, valid GATE scores (within the last 3 years), or experience in the renewable energy sector will be given preference.
- Age: 21 to 35 years as of March 31, 2026.
2. Project Assistant
- Educational Qualification: ITI in Electrician or Fitter trade (NCVT/SCVT) with at least 60% marks.
- Alternative Qualification: Candidates with a Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering are also eligible.
- Preferred Qualifications: Post-qualification experience in the renewable energy sector or holding a Diploma will be prioritized.
- Age: 21 to 35 years as of March 31, 2026.
Selection Process for Recruitment at OREDA LIMITED Odisha
The selection will be based on a combination of academic merit and personal assessment:
- Project Engineer: 80% weightage on Degree marks and 20% on Personal Interaction/Interview.
- Project Assistant: 70% weightage on ITI marks and 30% on Personal Interaction/Interview or Practical Test.
Shortlisted candidates based on their marks (minimum 60%) will be called for document verification and the final selection stage.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor the execution of renewable energy projects at the district level.
- Ensure quality control at project sites according to standard procedures.
- Manage timely maintenance of assets and project documentation (MIS, Joint Commissioning Certificates).
- Liaise with implementing vendors and government officials.
