The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has released the APPSC Departmental Test Result 2026 for the Departmental Tests May-2026 Session (Notification No. 03/2026) on 17 August 2026. The result has been published on the official website psc.ap.gov.in as separate, paper-code-wise PDF lists showing the register numbers of qualified candidates. What Is the APPSC Departmental Test?
The APPSC Departmental Test is not a recruitment examination. It is a qualifying test that serving Andhra Pradesh Government employees take to become eligible for promotions, transfers, and appointments to higher posts, as required under their respective Departmental Service Rules. Tests are conducted twice a year a May session and a November session and cover more than 60 distinct paper groups across departments such as Revenue, Excise, Forest, Police, Treasuries & Accounts, Jail, Registration, Transport, Fisheries, and various language and survey tests.
Papers are held in two modes: objective-type papers are Computer Based Tests (CBT), while Language Tests and Survey & Settlement papers are conducted in the conventional (descriptive, with books/without books as specified) mode.

- Visit the official APPSC website at psc.ap.gov.in or the results dashboard at portal-psc.ap.gov.in.
- Go to the “Announcements” section and locate “Results for APPSC Departmental Tests May 2026 Session Notification No.03/2026.”
- Click on the link for your specific Paper Code from the table above, or find it on the site if it has been moved.
- The PDF will open showing a list of register numbers of candidates who have qualified in that paper.
- Use Ctrl+F (or your device’s find function) to search for your register number within the PDF.
- Download and save the PDF, or take a screenshot of the page showing your register number, for your records.

What After the APPSC Departmental Test Result?
- APPSC does not issue individual pass certificates for departmental tests; the published result PDF itself is treated as the official, authentic record of qualification.
- Candidates who do not qualify can apply for a Memorandum of Marks within 1 month of the result declaration.
- Qualified employees should retain a copy of the result PDF (or their register number entry) to submit as proof of eligibility for promotion, transfer, or appointment to the relevant higher post, as required by their department.
- Any errata or corrections to the result, if issued, will be published as a separate “Errata” notice on the same official website candidates should keep checking the Announcements section for updates specific to Notification No. 03/2026.
