The Karnataka High Court SDA Recruitment 2026 has been announced through two separate notifications issued on 11.08.2026 for filling the post of Second Division Assistant on the Establishment of the High Court of Karnataka, Bengaluru, by way of Direct Recruitment.

A total of 20 vacancies have been notified for the post of Second Division Assistant, spread across two notifications based on cadre.

Within these 18 posts, horizontal reservation is also provided for Women, Rural, Kannada Medium, and Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) candidates as per the official notification.

Karnataka High Court SDA Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must satisfy the educational qualification and age limit prescribed in the official notification to be eligible for Karnataka High Court SDA Recruitment 2026.

Karnataka High Court SDA Qualification

Candidates must possess a Degree in Science / Arts / Commerce / Business Management / Computer Applications / Business Administration from a recognized University, along with knowledge of computer operation.

Karnataka High Court SDA Age Limit

Minimum Age: 18 years

(*) A one-time age relaxation of 5 years is applicable to all categories of candidates as per Government Order No. DPAR 262 SeNeNi 2025 dated 29.01.2026, as stated in the official notification.

Karnataka High Court SDA Application Fee

The application fee must be paid only through the State Bank of India online payment gateway using Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, or UPI via the link provided in the online application. The fee, once paid, is non-refundable under any circumstances, and applications submitted without the prescribed fee will be rejected.

Karnataka High Court SDA Salary

Selected candidates for the post of Second Division Assistant will be placed in the following pay scale, along with admissible allowances.

Appointed candidates will be on probation for a period of two years, extendable if necessary.

Karnataka High Court SDA Selection Process

Selection for the post of Second Division Assistant will be made on the basis of a Competitive Test (90 minutes duration) followed by an Interview.

Candidates will be called for the Competitive Test in the order of merit based on percentage of marks in the qualifying examination, in the ratio of 1:10 (10 candidates per notified vacancy) within each reserved category. Candidates who clear the Competitive Test will be called for Interview in the ratio of 1:5 (5 candidates per notified vacancy) in each reserved category, in order of merit.

Karnataka High Court SDA Apply Online

Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website of the High Court of Karnataka at https://judiciary.karnataka.gov.in between 13.08.2026 and 11.09.2026 (11:59 PM). Applications submitted through any mode other than the online system will not be considered under any circumstances.

  2. Fill in all required particulars in the online application form.
  3. Upload a recent colour photograph (5 cm x 3.6 cm, under 50 KB, JPG format, white background, without signature) and a scanned signature (2.5 cm x 7.5 cm, under 25 KB, JPG format).
  4. Pay the prescribed application fee through the khc online payment gateway.
  5. Download and retain a copy of the submitted application and fee payment receipt until the recruitment process is complete.

A valid mobile number and e-mail ID must be furnished compulsorily, as all communication regarding the Competitive Test and Interview will be sent through SMS/e-mail and published on the official website.
