Why Was the Result Revised?
According to the notification, GPSC received representations from candidates about their disability percentage after the earlier result was declared. On review, the Commission found discrepancies between the disability percentage entered by candidates at the time of application and the percentage mentioned in the medical certificate produced during document verification after the preliminary test. In the larger interest of candidates, the Commission cancelled the 16-07-2026 result ab initio and provisionally published this revised result.

Category-Wise Revised Cut-Off Marks
The cut-off mark for each PwD category is the score obtained by the last candidate in the merit list of that respective benchmark disability group, as arranged in descending order of total marks.
Marking Scheme for Language Papers
Evaluation of Paper-1 (Gujarati Language) and Paper-2 (English Language) has been carried out using the Final Answer Key, awarding 1.000 mark for each correct answer and deducting 0.300 mark for each wrong answer, multiple-encoded answer, or blank answer.
Common Paper Adjustment for Overlapping Advertisements
The main examination for Paper-1 (Gujarati) and Paper-2 (English) under Advertisement Numbers 67, 127/2024-25, and 08/2025-26 was conducted together on 22-02-2026. Candidates who had registered in more than one of these advertisements were given a self-declaration link, published via a notice dated 10-02-2026, to indicate which advertisement’s common paper marks should be considered. Based on the details submitted, the relevant common paper marks have accordingly been applied across these advertisements.

Legal Status – Gujarat High Court Case
The Commission has clarified that this entire result is subject to the final decision of the Hon’ble High Court of Gujarat in Special Civil Application (SCA) No. 7858/2026.
