- Project Associate-I (PAT-I) – IT/Computer Science: MCA/BE/BTech in IT/computer science or equivalent degree
- Project Associate-I (PAT-I) – Natural/Agricultural/Pharmaceutical Sciences: Masters/Integrated Masters in Natural or Agricultural or Pharmaceutical Sciences/MVSc/Animal Sciences OR Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine
- Project Associate-II (PAT-II): Masters/Integrated Masters in Natural or Agricultural or Pharmaceutical Sciences/MVSc/Animal Sciences OR Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine with 2 years experience
- Senior Project Associate (Senior PAT): Masters/Integrated Masters in Natural or Agricultural or Pharmaceutical Sciences/MVSc/Animal Sciences OR Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine with 3 years experience OR Doctoral Degree
- Sr. Project Associate (SPA) cum Reporter-Content Developer (English): Master’s degree in Natural or Agricultural sciences/MVSc or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine or Journalism or Mass communication or Science communication with 4 years experience
- Sr. Project Associate (SPA) cum Graphic Designer: Master’s degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences/MVSc or bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine or Journalism/Mass communication/Science communication/Graphic designing/Visual Communication and Multimedia with 4 years experience
- Sr. Project Associate (SPA) cum Audio & Video Editor: Master’s degree in Natural or Agricultural sciences/MVSc or bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine or Journalism/Mass communication/Science communication with 4 years experience

- Maximum age for Senior Project Associate/Senior PAT and other Sr. Project Associate posts: 40 years
