JNVST 2027 Notification NVS Class 6 Admission: Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS), under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, has released the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) 2027 notification for admission to Class VI in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) for the academic session 2027-28. The notification was released on 7 July 2026, and online applications are open from 7 July 2026 to 7 August 2026.
Students currently studying in Class V during the 2026-27 academic session can apply online. The entrance examination is scheduled for 28 November 2026. Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas are fully residential, co-educational schools that provide free education, boarding, lodging and textbooks to selected students, with admission granted purely through the JNV Selection Test.

JNVST 2027 Reservation Details
- At least 75% of seats are reserved for candidates from rural areas.
- Reservation for SC, ST and OBC candidates is provided as per Government of India norms.
- A minimum of one-third of seats is reserved for girls.
- Reservation is also available for eligible Divyang (differently-abled) candidates.
