IIT Guwahati Recruitment 2026 – Eligibility Criteria
- Project Engineer: PhD in Engineering/Technology, or Master’s degree with minimum 3 years of relevant experience; or Bachelor’s degree with minimum 6 years of relevant experience, preferably in Chemical, Mechanical, Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related disciplines. Minimum 3 years of experience in multidisciplinary R&D or technology-development projects. Proficiency in process modelling, AI/ML, data science, sensor-data analysis, software-tool development, data validation, and pilot-plant integration.
- Associate Project Engineer: Master’s degree in Engineering/Technology or Bachelor’s degree with minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Production, Energy, Environmental, or related disciplines. Experience in material characterization, product-quality evaluation, interpretation of analytical results, and preparation of technical reports.
- Assistant Project Engineer: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology, preferably in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Production, Environmental, or related disciplines. Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment operation, maintenance coordination, troubleshooting, and electrical systems.
- Plant Operator: ITI or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Instrumentation, Production Engineering, or a related discipline. Experience in reactor, furnace, boiler, thermal-processing, or pilot-plant operation. Ability to operate continuous and batch pyrolysis reactors in rotational shifts.
- Lab Attendant: 10th/12th, ITI, or Diploma in a relevant discipline. Previous experience in laboratory or industrial environments is desirable. Knowledge of good laboratory practices, safety procedures, material handling, waste segregation, and spill management.
