Document Verification Schedule
Venue: Committee Hall, Gujarat Subordinate Services Selection Board, Block No. 2, First Floor, Karmayogi Bhavan, behind Nirman Bhavan, Sector-10-A, Gandhinagar.

Provisional List of 169 Candidates Called for DV Schedule (Annexure-B)
The table below lists all 169 candidates called for DV Schedule, in order of their exam roll number, along with their category, total marks in the MCQ-CBRT exam, and the verification date/time slot that applies to their serial number. Candidates marked “(Sports)” under Category are the 6 candidates whose sports quota certificates will be verified for the 5% bonus marks rule.
Selection Process
Based on this notice, the selection process for GSSSB Library Clerk (Advt. No. 342/202526) works as follows:
- Candidates appeared in the MCQ-CBRT (Computer Based Recruitment Test).
- Based on marks obtained, minimum qualifying marks, and category-wise vacancies, GSSSB has prepared a provisional list of 169 candidates likely to be included in the Select List or Waiting List.
- These 169 candidates must undergo original document/certificate verification on 5 August 2026.
- For the 6 candidates (Sr. No. 1 to 6 in Annexure-B) who have claimed sports quota benefit, if their sports certificates are found valid on verification, 5% of their obtained marks will be added to their score as per rules, before final merit is calculated.
- After document verification is complete, GSSSB will prepare and publish the final Select List / Waiting List based on category-wise vacancies and merit.
- Being named in the provisional list (Annexure-B) does not by itself guarantee a place in the final Select List – it only means the candidate is called for document verification.
Required DV Schedule
All 169 shortlisted candidates must bring the original documents listed below, along with two self-attested photocopy sets of each, arranged in the order given:
- Application form (mandatory for every candidate)
- School Leaving Certificate (date of birth proof)
- Caste certificate (for candidates in reserved categories)
- SEBC candidates: caste certificate + non-creamy layer certificate, issued between 1 April 2023 and 30 December 2025 (based on income for financial years 2022-23, 2023-24, 2024-25)
- EWS candidates: Economically Weaker Section eligibility certificate obtained between 31 December 2022 and 30 December 2025
- Std. 10 and Std. 12 mark sheets and certificates
- All-semester mark sheets and certificate for Bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Science / Library Science
- Computer knowledge certificate
- Divyang (persons with disability) candidates: prescribed-format certificate from a competent authority
- Ex-servicemen: original discharge book copy showing discharge from service
- Sports category candidates: prescribed-format certificate (Form-1, Form-2, Form-3, or Form-4, as applicable) from a competent authority confirming representation at the required level (National/International, Inter-University, or All India School Games Federation events)
- Government employees: No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their current office
- Photo ID proof showing address
- Two recent passport-size photographs
Candidates must also fill out the document verification form (attached with the official notice) with personal, educational, and category details before their verification slot.
Important Instructions
- Candidates should check their own application form details against their original certificates for any discrepancy (e.g., in caste certificate number, caste, or name). If a discrepancy exists, candidates should carry a supporting affidavit.
- Even if the individual verification letter has not been received by post before the scheduled date, candidates must still report on the notified date and time with all original documents and two photocopy sets.
- Candidates who do not wish to join the post, or who do not wish to attend verification, must inform GSSSB in writing.
- If a candidate genuinely cannot attend in person due to unavoidable circumstances, their parent/guardian may attend on their behalf with a signed consent letter in the prescribed format (attached with the notice), along with an affidavit.
- Mere inclusion of a candidate’s name in the Annexure-B list does not create any right or claim to a place in the final Select List.
