MPPSC Prelims Exam Pattern

Prelims is a screening test (marks not counted in final merit). Paper 2 (CSAT) is qualifying.

  • Total: 600 marks (but only Paper 1 counts for merit cutoff).

  • Objective MCQs.

  • Negative marking: 1 mark deducted for each wrong answer (1/3 per question since 3 marks per correct).

  • No penalty for unanswered questions.
