How to Check DTE Maharashtra Polytechnic CAP Round 2 Result 2026
- Visit the official website: poly26.dtemaharashtra.gov.in.
- Click on “View Provisional Allotment for CAP Round 2” (or the Candidate Login option, as shown on the homepage).
- Enter your Application ID (starting with DEN26) along with your Date of Birth or registered password, as prompted.
- Click on “View Allotment” / Submit.
- Your allotted institute, branch, and category details will be displayed on the next page.
- Download and take a printout of the allotment letter for reporting purposes.
Understanding Freeze, Betterment, and Auto-Freeze
After checking the result, candidates allotted a seat in Round 2 must choose one of the following options in their login:
Candidates who confirm their seat via Freeze will not be permitted to participate in subsequent CAP rounds.
DTE Maharashtra Polytechnic Round 2 Seat Acceptance Fee 2026
- Candidates newly allotted a seat in Round 2, or those upgrading via Betterment, must pay a non-refundable Seat Acceptance Fee of Rs 1,000.
- Candidates who already paid this fee after Round 1 and are only receiving a seat upgrade in Round 2 are not required to pay again.
- Payment must be made online via credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI.
Important Instructions
- Verify your name, application number, allotted institute, branch, and category carefully on the allotment letter; report discrepancies immediately through the candidate login grievance option.
- Do not miss the reporting/fee-payment deadline of July 25, 2026 – DTE can cancel allotments for candidates who fail to complete both online acceptance and physical reporting within the window.
- A seat confirmed through Freeze cannot be claimed again or exchanged in later rounds.
- Hostel accommodation is not automatic with academic seat allotment and must be applied for separately at the institute.
- After Round 2 reporting concludes, DTE Maharashtra is expected to release the vacant seat matrix for CAP Round 3; the exact date for this had not been officially notified at the time of writing.
