A total of 05 vacancies have been announced under the IISER Pune Teaching Assistant Recruitment 2026. IISER Pune Teaching Assistant Eligibility Criteria 2026
Minimum Educational Qualification:
- MA / M.Phil. Degree in English / English Literature / Comparative Literature / Modern Literature / Linguistics / ELT / TESOL / Society and Culture / Media Studies / Creative Writing with minimum 55% marks, OR
- BA in English / English Literature / Comparative Literature / Modern Literature / Linguistics / ELT / TESOL / Society and Culture / Media Studies / Creative Writing with minimum 55% marks + relevant teaching experience, OR
- CELTA / DELTA / PGCTE / PGDTE Certification.
Preference: Candidates having prior experience in teaching English will be preferred.
Job Requirements:
- Involved with the Academic Communication Skills course taught to BS-MS first-year students.
- Attend classes (2 hours) and teach two tutorial batches (3 hours) per week on campus.
- Grade assignments on a weekly basis.
