EdCIL is hiring for 879 Multidisciplinary Staff including Psychologist, Speech Therapist, Clinical Psychologist, PMU Consultant and Occupational Therapist. The last date is 04 June 2026.
EdCIL Multidisciplinary Staff 2026 – Educational Qualifications
Candidates must possess the prescribed qualifications from Government/RCI recognized institutions and fulfil the eligibility criteria as on 30 April 2026.
Occupational Therapist (125 Posts)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration/license to practise as an Occupational Therapist in India, as per applicable state regulations.
- Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, with a compassionate, patient-centred approach.
- Experienced candidates in the relevant field will be given added advantage.
Physiotherapist (125 Posts)
- Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution.
- Valid professional registration/license.
- Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills, compassionate approach, ability to work independently and in a team.

Psychologist (125 Posts)
- M.A./M.Sc in Psychology from a recognized university (Clinical/Counselling/Developmental Psychology preferred).

Speech Therapist (125 Posts)
- Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
- Mandatory valid registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
- Experience working with children with Autism and developmental disorders preferred.
- Strong assessment, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Telugu and English (knowledge of other local languages is an added advantage).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team; experienced candidates will be given added advantage.
Clinical Psychologist (125 Posts)
- Post Graduation in Clinical Psychology from an institution recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
- Mandatory valid RCI registration.
- Strong expertise in psychological assessments and behavioural therapies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proficiency in Telugu is an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team; experienced candidates will be given added advantage.
Special Educator (Secondary Level) – 125 Posts
- The candidate must possess any one of the following RCI-recognised qualifications with valid CRR number:
- Bachelor’s Degree + B.Ed. (Special Education), OR
- Bachelor’s Degree + B.Ed. (General) with 1-year Diploma in Autism/Intellectual Disability, OR
- Bachelor’s Degree + B.Ed. (General) with D.Ed. in Autism/Intellectual Disability.
- Qualified AP TET (Paper-2B mandatory) / CTET in Special Education.
- Experienced candidates in the relevant field will be given added advantage.
Special Educator (Primary Level) – 125 Posts
- Must have passed Intermediate (10+2) from a recognized Board.
- Must possess a two-year Diploma in Special Education (Autism/Intellectual Disability) recognized by RCI with valid CRR number.
- Qualified AP TET (Paper-1B mandatory) / CTET in Special Education.
- Experienced candidates in the relevant field will be given added advantage.
PMU Consultant (4 Posts)
- Ph.D./M.Phil in Clinical Psychology/Psychology/Special Education.
- Desirable: Ph.D in the field of rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities.
- Experienced candidates in the relevant field will be given added advantage.
- Expertise in report writing and strong communication skills is mandatory.

EdCIL Multidisciplinary Staff 2026 – General Instructions
- Only online applications will be accepted; only Indian Nationals are eligible.
- The workplace will be Autism Centres across various Municipalities of Andhra Pradesh as approved by SPD (Inclusive Education–PM SHRI, Andhra Pradesh).
- The competent authority reserves the right to amend, cancel or change the advertisement wholly or partly without assigning any reason.
- The engagement will not confer any right for regular engagement, permanent absorption or continued contractual engagement.
- Qualifications must be from Government recognized institutions only.
- Candidates should have strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent working knowledge of computers (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint etc.) and presentation skills.
- Selection will be based on academic/professional qualifications and may include an interview on a prescribed date and time as decided by the competent authority.
- A waiting list of candidates will be prepared for possible future vacancies or non-joining of selected candidates.
- Original documents to prove qualifications, age, experience, etc., must be produced at the time of interview.
- The cut-off date for age and experience is 30 April 2026; eligibility must be satisfied as on this date.
