Interested candidates can apply for 4-Year BA and BSc (Honours with Research) programmes till 1 June 2026. Presidency University, Kolkata has invited online applications for admission to Four-Year (Eight Semesters) Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Bachelor of Science (BSc) (Honours with Research) courses for the academic session 2026-2027. Applications are open for candidates who have passed 10+2 in 2025 or later.

The admission process includes two categories – Category A (based on academic score) and Category B (based on admission test). The university follows NEP 2020 guidelines.

Eligibility Criteria for Presidency University UG Admission 2026
Candidates must have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) examination in 2025 or later from a recognized board. There is no age limit. Candidates need to secure minimum aggregate marks as per the course:
-Most subjects: 60% (General), 45% (SC/ST), 54% (OBC), 57% (PwD)
-Science subjects (Biotechnology, Chemistry, etc.): 70% (General), 52.50% (SC/ST), 63% (OBC), 66.50% (PwD)
Aggregate is calculated on best four subjects. Candidates must have English as a subject. Detailed eligibility is available in the Information Brochure.

Selection Process & Exam Pattern

Category B Subjects (History, Political Science, Chemistry, Economics, Life Sciences, Statistics): Admission through Admission Test (50 MCQs, 2 marks for correct answer, 0.5 negative marking).
Exam Pattern: 2-hour test, English medium, OMR sheet.
