IIT JAM 2026 Seat Allotment

Seat Acceptance Process After Allotment
After the first admission list is released, candidates must complete the following actions:
- Log in to the portal and review the allotted seat.
- Choose Freeze (if satisfied with the seat) or Float/Upgrade (for better options in next rounds).
- Pay the seat acceptance fee through the online payment mode within the given deadline.
- Download the provisional admission letter.
- Failure to pay the fee on time may result in cancellation of the allotted seat.
